Heilpädagogische Schule
Stans,
2004
The school for special education in Stans has been extended in order to naturally improve the space on offer. The existing building and new extension come together to form an integrated design. The newly designed, lower-lying school yards which illuminate the basement were expanded by the yards in the new extension and became a recurring theme in the project. In this way, the poorly-lit basement from before is now a fully-fledged, attractive school area.
